STAND

The Statistics Club strives to promote community, equity, diversity, and inclusion in the data science community here at UCLA - and beyond. Together with the Department of Statistics and Data Science, the Statistics Team for the Advancement and Nurturing of Diversity (STAND) connects incoming students with graduate student mentors and provides support to students during their academic and personal journeys in college.

Getting Involved

Each quarter, the department hosts events such as high school outreach, food bank volunteering and hiking.
